Costume design featuring vintage style bridal dresses and accessories

My name is Jenny. I'm Swedish, but currently living in Sicily, Italy. I am a costume designer working with theatre and film. As much as I love my profession, I also adore building and making my "own" designs and creations. It started as a hobby where I designed and built wedding dresses for family members and friends. This was so inspirational that I started to make things and just keep them. Instead of keeping my designs at home; looking at them and admiring them, I thought it would be a good idea to start sharing the items with the world, through etsy.

I love the 1920's and 1930's and often design with that era in mind. I like to design something a bit different, something that you might not find in "normal" bridal shops. I would even dare to say that my designs are for the untraditional bride. My pieces also echoes my theatrical past (and present) and I like to include aspects of "show" in the designs.
Another important aspect for me is to recycle; to recycle materials and other items. usually my designs have som kind of personal story in their materials. Whether it's a piece of lace from my sister in law's wedding dress or feathers from a head piece in a play I did years back.

As of now all my designs are one of a kind and are NOT made to order. I have listed all the measurements related to the items in the postings.
