A bold and stunning declaration, this original feathered headpiece is accented by lace and crystal, and attaches via ribbon at the back.
As a costume designer I look for inspiration in the past, the present, and in all things I unearth along the way. This piece is very special to me because each element has once upon a time been somewhere and something else. The feathers came from a theatre where I once worked and were used by one the actors in a play I designed. The lace was left over from a wedding dress I made for my dear sister-in-law. The beads were from my grandmother. All the components combine to create a sumptuous and soulful history.
